Very simply, a community is a group of people with something in common like location, customs, values, heritage or identity.

A community can also be very powerful as shown in one of these campaigns by looking after each other and fighting for justice. Yet, in the other, we also see the consequences of sticking too tightly to one idea of community and not getting to know others.

These campaigns both celebrate that all of humanity, as diverse as we are, have more in common than we think. Let's grow our communities in positive ways and look after each other.
